Easter Eggs By J. Jasiunas (C)

This is approximately one third of the collection of Lithuanian Easter eggs decorated using scratch-carve and wax-resist methods by Juozas Jasiunas over the period from 1946 to 1983. This collection was donated by the artist to the Chicago Chapter of the Lithuanian Folk Art Institute in 1987 and is now on display at the Lithuanian Museum of Art in Lemont, Illinois.
