Even in early November weather in the Sonoran desert surrounding Phoenix, Arizona, is warm and pleasant - a good time for outdoor activities like licnics. The Arizona chapter of the Lithuanian American Community, headed by Mark Shoban chose this time for its annual autumn picnic. It was a great opportunity for Lithuanian-Americans and their families to get together, to renew old friendships, and to enjoy traditional Lithuanian food prepared by Marie Shoban.
We thank everyone who came, who contributed their favorite dessert, and who brought an item for our lottery.
