11th Lithuanian Folk Dance Festival In Toronto
Date: July 2, 2000
Place: Hershey Center, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

Saule performed at the 11th Lithuanian Folk Dance Festival in Toronto. This was a major folkloric event with 1678 dancers of all ages from all parts of the United States and from Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Lithuania and Poland. To get so many dancers to perform together, all dancers underwent two days of intensive practice prior to the performance. Hershey Center, where the performance took place, is a large hockey stadium in nearby Mississauga. Performing before a large crowd of spectators with folk dancers from distant parts of the globe was a thrilling experience for all.
